We’re excited to announce today our new partnerships with three more bands/artists who will be releasing projects in the near future through 1120 Records.
These bands join Buffalo punk band Pretty Good State University and the ‘slumbergrunge’ duo medium.chaos, both of whom entered partnerships with our label in October. 1120 Records is also home to The Sneers (Buffalo post-punk),
Sin Lung (Wash D.C. stoner doom) and Clown Teeth (Buffalo/DC experimental art punk).
The three new bands/artists to join with 1120 include:
Buffalo skate punk band Skyway, which earlier this month released two new songs — “Last of a Dying Scene” and “Uncomfortably Numb” — as well as a video in support of the latter song. The band's new songs are available on the streams.
Fredonia-based alt/indie band Kattaus, which just dropped its excellent debut EP, “Abandonette,” a bold and furious 5-song record. Check out this great new EP now on streaming platforms.
Ian McCuen, Buffalo folk singer-songwriter who is releasing their latest album “As the Oceans Rise and Empire Falls,” an ambitious and hauntingly beautiful 22-song endeavor, this Friday, Nov. 29. Ian also will mark the occasion with an album release show that night at Mohawk Place in Buffalo. Ian also dropped two singles from the new album earlier this month, which can be heard on streaming platforms.
It’s our privilege to be working with all the bands mentioned above. Stay tuned for announcements on forthcoming products/merch from these artists.
